The Early Voter – and a belated Happy Halloween

Friends,

Today is the last day of early voting in NYC — polls are open until 4pm, meaning you can get on the line by 4pm. (Polls are closed on Monday.)

Here’s a little tune I improvised last week while entertaining the voters, who stood in line for over three hours, at our early polling site, the Frederick Douglass Playground on 101 and Amsterdam — I call it “The Early Voter”.
You can listen to it in the video above, along with a collage of photos from the scene, and/or download the sheet music (PDF) and play it on your own fiddle.

I hope that you voted! Thank you. 🙂

Also — belated Happy Halloween:

Be safe out there and thank you!
