New Relases from Trio Fadolín on YouTube
Dear Friends,
I have voiced some reservations about posting content on YouTube — principally, I don’t agree that the viewer should have to endure an ad before watching my work — but in this case, I’m delighted to share with you some recent videos from Trio Fadolín that have surfaced on YouTube from other posters. Three are from recent concerts, and one is a collaboration track release. Enjoy and thank you for watching!
In April 2024, Trio Fadolín played a concert at the Interchurch Center in Manhattan, featuring the works of Yehiel Goyzman (his “Yidisher Kontsert”, in Ljova’s arrangement) and Ljova’s “The Afterglow”.
In November 2023, Trio Fadolín played a concert as part of Bulgarian Concert Evenings at the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York, in a program featuring works by Vasyl Barvinsky, Andrea Casarrubios, Tsvetomir Petkov, and Ljova:
A few days later, the trio performed as part of a celebration of music by Greek-American composer Charles Calomiris, at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music. Charles wrote three pieces for our ensemble — Xenitia, Tangolero and Sundance — here is a video of the premiere of Xenitia:
Last but not least, a track release — take a listen to “God Bless The Child” by the San Francisco-based group Los Cenzontles, featuring a string arrangement by Ljova recorded by Trio Fadolín
