Dear Friends,
While we might be “moments away” from AGI, we are still not there yet with a place to study the fadolín — and as the community of fadolín players around the world grows, I’d like to throw my hat in the ring and offer fadolín lessons. I should say right away that I’m offering myself as much as a teacher as a student, and would be happy to barter lessons to have opportunities to play for fellow fadolínists.
That said, in the past five years or so, the fadolín has become my primary instrument, one that I’ve continued to explore in solo repertoire and in chamber music. I’m always on the lookout for new solutions to technical issues, such as chinrests, strings, amplification, and so on.
Whether you’re an advanced fadolínist or a beginner starting out from scratch, or somewhere in the middle, please reach out! I’m available locally in New York, and virtually anywhere over Zoom.
Let’s do this!
with gratitude,
Ljova
P.S. Did you know that I run a Patreon-supported project to develop new music for the fadolín?
