It’s been a few months since I’ve shared any original music in this space — here’s a video premiere of my piece “Looking at the Dohany Street Synagogue“, composed in Budapest this past summer. For those who haven’t been there — it’s the second largest synagogue in the world — Moorish on the outside, gothic cathedral on the inside — a building full of contradictions. beauty, and history.

This piece can be played on violin or viola, if any of you would like to learn it, I’m happy to share the music.
