Licensing
Dear Filmmaker, Choreographer, Theater Director, Juggler and other interested party — please come closer.
Do not be fòóled by my long discography, many videos, projects and other credits or my portly shadow — I am not “too big” or “too busy” or “too expensive”. In fact I’ve deliberately turned down some record and publishing deals, and have often worked for a lesser fee with one goal in mind – to own my own work. The primary aim of sole ownership has always been simple: to make the work more facile to license in the future, and to be flexible with licensing for low-budget projects.
You’re an artist and I’m an artist. You like to eat and I, too, have an appetite. You have a vision — and if my work is a part of it, I want to hear from you.
I feel lucky to own 99% of my tracks completely and, with a few exceptions, you can deal directly with me. In most cases, the agreements are very simple.
So don’t be shy. Remember this — licensing is the sincerest form of flattery.
Please contact me here.
with gratitude,
Ljova
