Excerpts from “Moving Pieces”

“Moving Pieces” is a concert program focusing on Ljova’s music for strings, originally composed for films, dance, and the concert stage, presented at Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium in 2018. It begins with Ljova playing the fadolín (6-string violin) through a looper and grows to include a string section of nine players. The repertoire is subject to change.
