Fadolín Trio work in progress
Hi friends,
Having released an album of solo fadolín music in January, I wanted to next focus on creating new chamber music with the fadolín as an integral instrument. Over the last few months I’ve had several opportunities to play with violinist Sabina Torosjan and cellist Valeriya Sholokhova, in concerts and outreach events throughout New York City. It seems natural to use our platform to try new things and expand the repertoire for fadolín trio.
Here is the first movement of my new fadolín trio, from a performance at Brooklyn’s finest back room, Barbès. There are three other movements currently, and it’s still a work in progress. See what you think of these new sonorities..
