midsummer update

Dear Friends,

First off, an invite to a singular show you don’t want to miss —

tu_manuSATURDAY, AUGUST 10:
THE FIRST RITE
(rain date: August 11)

This is going to be fun! — I was commissioned to write a suite reinterpreting the folk sources Igor Stravinsky used to mold his ballet The Rite of Spring. Hear the original folk tunes sung and played by an incredible array of musicians, one-time only free performance as part of the Rite of Summer Festival on Governors Island.
